CITY COUNCIL ADDS MORE DEVELOPMENT TO OVERBURDENED EAST VISTA WAY

Look at how many housing units are pending in the City of Vista.  Almost 700 new condos/homes along East Vista Way, plus retail projects as well.

The City Council has known about the serious gridlock for years and has done absolutely nothing.  Now they are approving developments to add even more cars to the road.  Not only are drivers stuck, air pollution increased, and time lost, but people’s lives are at stake because emergency response times are as long as 8 minutes during rush hour.

The City Council knows this, but they vote for more development anyway.  Firemen have told us that 6 minutes is the magic number–if EMTs don’t get there by then,  some people who could have been saved will die.  Will people have to start dying before the Vista City Council does something?

Call the City Council at (760) 643-5210 to tell them to do something about gridlock.  Tell them that road improvements must come before more development!  Or click this link to send an email to the five City Council members.
